DIY Project: Ikea Toy organizer

One if my latest projects is changing the toy organizer we bought from Ikea, into something that was more color appropriate and at least cute for a girls room. I have a lot of spare time and have taken on quite a bit of projects thanks to Etsy. Browsing thru the thousands of handmade items I thought "hey why pay a ridiculous price for something I can do for myself!"
So what i bought was pink spray paint - I got from walmart it's outdoor and indoor  I have noooo idea the different types so I just went with something that seemed universal. Only $2.87 Then I went to Michael's (a craft store) and dug thru the dollar ribbon bin and found a hot pink satin ribbon and a thinner girrafe print ribbon. $1 a piece. I also have some fake flowers laying around which I got from the dollar store, the bouqet $1. And what's holding all of it together?? My handy dandy hot glue gun and it's a mini hot glue gun I got from walmart for less than $5 I think..
What I used:
                          -Hot glue gun
                          -fake flowers
                          - pink spray paint
                          - ribbon
What I did first was spray painted the whole toy organizer outside of course! Then I let it dry overnight, and then I took the 2 ribbons, measured the front 3 layers of the hanging organizer and the inside colored parts. I hot glued the the giraffe print ribbon to the center of the hot pink ribbon, then piece by piece glued it to the areas of the toy organizer I felt like it need ribbon to cover the previous color. Then just for a touch of something more girly I took one fake flower. Took it apart, hot glued the pieces to each other one by one, and found a jewel and glued it to the center of the flower, then hot glued the flower to one layer of the toy organizer.
